*~*UPDATE PICS*~* 3/15/09 chicks and my duckling

So sorry to hear about your brother in law Shay. Sorry about your chicks too.
I had one yesterday that pipped a large hole in his egg and then he could look out and so he just stopped. Was like that for hours like he just liked it the way it was. I finally helped him before I went to bed last night since it had been hours. I was so afraid he wouldn't make it because he looked as if he had a huge poop that was protruding but I left it alone since chicks are so fragile and today he is fine. Well, actually I think it is a hen. It has different coloring than the other two.
I hope you have a better day tomorrow.

. Do you have access to an ostrich feather duster? Check my MaMaHen feather duster information out, it may help keep them from trampling each other

shay20 My prayers are with your sister-in-law and all of the family at this time. I lost my mom to the same thing a few years ago. I have my

Great idea about the feather duster! I have my chicks together right now but I watch them and if the larger chicks seem to start picking on the little ones I will move them to another brooder.
If the chicks get cold they might pile up so it is a great idea to use the feather duster.
Now to just find one! I do have a heat lamp on my chicks though.
