Thanks guys grace hasn't eat or drunk anything I've dipped her beak she wasn't impressed her eyes are shut 95% of the time so that's not helping I've been to the local farm shop they don't sell chick vitamins what's the best one to get from Amazon as I can get it delivered tomorrow

Nutridrench for poultry would be my first choice but Polyvisol WITHOUT iron is a baby vitamin that will likely be available at your local drug store or grocery store so you don't have to wait on delivery.

( sorry) if she doesn't drink by herself what's the best way to get fluid into her and when should I do that

Looking at your baby, I think that getting any kind of electrolytes into her very soon would be helpful. Not sure what’s in the U.K. I use half strength Gatorade (half water) or pedialyte. I’d keep everything warm for her, including the liquids that you are trying to get into her. Your pharmacy should have some type of liquid baby vitamin, but you need to pick one without iron. Getting her to drink herself by dipping her beak into the dish of lukewarm liquid would be best. You may need to dip then back off a minute and see if she gets the idea. If she won’t drink soon, I’d use an eye dropper or some such. I’d try drops on the beak first, then if she still isn’t drinking, open the mouth and put a drop in. You need to go very slow or she can inhale it into her lung. Can you take a pic of her umbilicus, where the yolk sac was?

EXCITING UPDATE grace has had a drink had to dip and leave a few times but in the end she dipped and drunk by herself still not opening her eyes very much or eating but definite progress for now can't tell you how pleased I am . I've got some nutridrench being delivered by 9am tomorrow I will get a pic of her tummy in a bit she's snuggled up sleeping and I don't want to disturb her
