Well, I say I can't wait.. ..but I can, am pretty patient, but looking forward to it for sure.

Okay still at the coast so no pics yet, but it's a lot bigger than I thought. It's about 4'x8' by a good 10 feet tall so way bigger than I thought. Was never a coop, looks like it might have been a storage shed. An old Black n Decker table saw on one of the shelves inside and a box marked "hobbies" on the other side (it's empty).

No chicken has ever darkened it's door so the addition of some vents, a couple outside nest boxes, some roosts, a pop-door, and a run and it'll be fine for a couple hens or maybe a mama with chicks.

And, it's free!

That sounds awesome, and if it's never had chickens living in it before I'd go for it. Sounds like it would make a great coop for a small flock.

Shed's about a foot off the ground so it really is tall. Sean's about 6'.

Yes! Put lots of windows in (hardware cloth) and paint the inside sky blue to keep wasps from building nests (According to one of our BYC friends)

Yup, already on the property, final positioning will have to wait a bit and then I get to start making modifications!
