As I sit here at 2am looking at the box that is damaged, I just get more angry. Let me say this: I am aware that I didn't get insurance. I realize that the box might could have been marked fragile or even in a better/stronger box. Now that this is out of the way,
AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO THINKS THAT THE STUPID USPS TOTALY SCREWED UP AND ISN'T DOING ANYTHING TO FIX IT?!?!?!?!? Okay, now that I have vented, i'll calm down.
*exhale* When I talked to the local Postmaster, she told me that since I didn't have the ins, there was nothing I could do. So let me get this straight. I pay the USPS to ship a package to me. It is damaged very badly and obviously. They more or less tell me that there is nothing they can do.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I understand why the insurance is offered. But is it wrong of me to expect my package to arrive in some sort of usable manner? That is what I pay for when I pay the USPS to ship it, is it not? That is like going to a sub shop and asking for a ham, cheese, and tomato sandwich and then paying for it and you look in the bag, they just tossed all the ingredients in the bad. So you go back and complain. They tell you since you didn't pay extra to have the ingredients put in the bread, that there is nothing they can do. Would that be okay? Heck no!!! So how is this any different? It would be different if the box was wet, or a flap was missing, or a corner was crushed a little. THE BOX HAD A CRUSH MARK ON THE BOTTOM AND A GASH THAT RUNS OVER HALF THE WIDTH OF THE BOX!!!!!!
Now then. I feel better. But just a little. I just want my bator
*By the way, the seller and I are working to resolve this on our end and I think as far as that goes, I will be happy. As far as the USPS, I mean it when I say that I will complain as far up the ladder as I can go. The seller an myself are going to try to gang up on them and see if that helps.
