Utah!

Hi everyone. I'm glad to see others from Utah on here. We are new to chickens and have a backyard coop with a buff orpington, gold sex link, ameraucana and barred rock. I have enjoyed reading and learning much fromreadin on this forum.

wow! nice job gamebird...that Box Elder Fair goes all out with the trophy's and all..only ribbons here. This was just the county fair I went to, so maybe the state fair has the tropys. How fun. Congrats!

Way to go Gamebirds, nice job!

Welcome Newtochickensut! Where are you from? I may have missed it. I am in Logan :)

Daughter a little perkier today, fyi, think i can stop worrying quite so much guys. Thanks for all the well wishes, thought you would want to now her little cheer team on here must have sent some good vibes her way !

Red, I am thinking any minute you are going to have an egg announcement! So exciting!
Still no answer to my mystery. I am going out early tomorrow to see what the heck is going on....

Daloorashens, I am pretty sure we are not coming to Idaho for the fair. There is a small chance, but it may be awhile before we come that direction  We have tons of stuff going on with the daughter, if she gets well enough to perform. Also my DH works two jobs and his second job just gave him tons of extra hours so I could not guarantee I could get Cynthia's Ameraucana to you before Hattie heads your way. Let me know if you still think I should bring her to my house Saturday.

Love your birds!

Lisa, so glad to hear that your daughter is showing signs of improvement. That's wonderful. I hope she keeps it up.

Congrats, Gamebirds!!

Red, giggling at the turkey picture. Weird on the deformed BR.

Lisa, glad your daughter is feeling a little better. Make sure she doesn't try to push herself too hard and have a setback. Maybe you need to buy a bunch of lipstick and start your test that way...

I need to have dh build nestboxes in my bigger coop. I have three hens who are 19 weeks old now, and they're starting to get red. I don't think it'll be right away though. I'm pretty sure that my BLRW and my legbar aren't laying yet, even though the legbar is probably 24ish weeks, and the BLRW is 28 weeks.

I'm not a BYU fan, but what a sweet story. I'm so glad they went and visited your grandpa. I'm sure that really tickled him.
