Madchicken, I like your idea, too. I'm not sure how fertile these eggs are right now, though, so I'm going to try something first.

I was one of the lucky ones to get to evaluate this waterer while Pawtraitart was working on it. She sent me this first, and today I got the bracket for it. As you can see, the little chicks take to it. This thing, does NOT drip all over the shavings. Plus, no shavings kicked into the water, like the larger waterers.

Ooookay, that was scary. I think we just had a prowler trying to get in our house. I don't see anything outside, but my rifle is sleeping with me tonight.

Cynthia, those waterers look so awesome. I'm seriously considering one for my spring hatches this year. I'm so over water issues with my chicks. It'll be good advertising too, with my webcam and school hatches. There's always a huge amount of people watching.
