Can you tell on Bantams if they are Pullets. I heard that the RIR females all have the dark stripe on their heads, Males do not have it. Just wondering.

I do still have her! Get this..She's broody! Sitting on Ancona Duck eggs. I need a picture of her lol. I haven't gotten around to it, but I promise some soon ;)

I'll try tomorrow. She's one of the most aggressive broody's I've had. This one really DOES peck. Sindie, or Fanny they'd let me get the eggs or look at them. This one however, puffs up and screeches and attacks!

She's a good mama..so far. :) Hope she watches over the babies as well. She probably will.
 
Does anyone know how to keep flies down to a minimum? The mixture of my chickens and the goats behind me sure are making A LOT of flies stick around
