Vaccines

I have two vaccine damaged children. One biological and one adopted.

My son got ecepholopathy from his 12 month shots. He has recovered mostly but now has asperger syndrome. Hr also got pertussis 1 month after completing the dpt series and he has gotten chicken pox twice.

He was tested 6 years after his last shots and he had high levels of mercury and aluminum.

My youngest has never been vaccinated and is by far my healthiest child.

I am a registered nurse. I worked as a baby nurse in l&d. I have given over 250 hep b vaccines to babies less than an hour old. When I set out to research to prove to myself they were safe and effective. Sadly I came to the conclusion that they are neither.

I vaccinate-I know too many people who had German Measles (and their unborn child was left severely handicapped) and also Polio to take the risk of it becoming a rampant disease again. My (and my husband's) choice.

I am glad they are available for us to choose to use them.

NOW, I will play devil's advocate a little-what about your pets? Do you get shots for them? If you go away and take your dog to a kennel, do you want to risk it getting Kennel Cough? Or, if you buy a puppy from a breeder, do you want it to die from Parvo? Or would you sue the breeder for not giving a basic shot?

I don't get my cats most shots...but they are completely indoor animals. They are never exposed to other animals that may be carrying disease.

I'm sorry for your children adverse reaction. I too have noticed a definite difference in health in vaccinated people vs non vaccinated. The immune systems in vaccinated people seem so much more depressed. Hope that's the right use of words...

its just my observation.
My brother and sister where both compleatly vaccinated and I wasn't. I'm much more healthy then them and I have no allergies. My mom decided to not vaccinate me because of this. I've had a few just not all. We all got the chicken pox when I was 18... wheew not fun! But not to bad. It was right when I was getting to know DH really good so that bummed me the most! I had to stay away from him for 3 weeks. I thought I was gonna die from missing him. ha ha ha!

Here is a video I made when Jacob was 7. He is almost 11 now and improving amazingly. Noone will ever convince me he was born like this. They video proves it. He had eye contact, he was engaged, he was "normal" He is almost completely recovered now but still has many social issues.

I am rethinking vaccines for our pets. Here is an organization that is fundraisinging for studies to prove that the rabies vax lasts at least 5-7 years. Overvaccination is just as much a problem for pets as it is for people.

babyrnlc, I too am sorry for your children. I have a brother on the spectrum; let me tell you that I would rather face all the childhood diseases than try to control a 3-yr-old in a teenager's body.

Vaccines do create a different immune reaction in the body than the natural illness. The way it was explained to me by my chiro is that immunizations send the body into a heightened immune response, and the steady succession of shots do not allow the body to ever relax, therefore exhausting the immune system. I believe it will be discovered (and accepted) that vaccine damage can take years to become evident. Reactions are not limited to 48 hours after a shot.

I have had three dogs die of parvo, all had a parvo shot from the vet. When you research vacines, don't go by research performed by biased parties. You will find that it takes knowledge to weed out propaganda coming from those with a greety interest. If you think you could ever get the truth from research from the companies pushing the product you are very nieve. Its like thinking your getting the truth from the main stream media.

This is a basic, layman-term explanation of many of the concerns about vaccines.

A very good book on the subject is 'Raising a Vaccine Free Child' by Wendy Lydall. There are hundreds of references, and she describes in detail how to safely deal with the childhood diseases, including polio. Yes, polio can be completely cured with homeopathy if treated in the early stages. Modern medicine can be marvelous, but it has its share of shortcomings.

I am thankful for my vet. She's just a good ol' country vet. She said that dogs/cats do not need vaccinations every year. My old vet had us come in every year for vaccinations. So we now go in every three years. We do have one outdoor cat, but only vaccinate for rabies and on other thing with her every few years.
