Here is my first Baby Blue Andalusian- from my big boy Blue and his 2 girls.... there are 2 more eggs pipped-1 BA and 1 EE, with 1 more BA to go and 2 more EE's to go with 3 Welsummer eggs that I think may be clear. But 1 is out and 2 are pipped-yay!

We call this one Baby Blue Rascal, because she won't stay on the right side of the bator- its a staggered hatch with the turner still going on the other 1/2. I have a hardware cloth wall separating it, but this baby gets over it somehow...

Hope these 2 other ones hatch soon...I worry when it takes more than a few hours from pip to out. I've lost too many...

We're on day 12 here today. 3 mystery eggs remaining.

Well, my first hatch is done. I only have two Polish fuzzies - one yellow, one black. I open the shells yesterday. Something must have happened about a week into the hatch because many were stalled there. I had 1 Cuckoo Maran that developed, but never hatched and 3 Polish that developed also. I'm guessing that the humidity was too low at hatch time. I now have humidity monitors in the bators.

I am at day 10 with EE's (14) and day 6 with three types of turkeys. More to go into the bator this weekend.

well, those 2 pipped eggs hatched out to 2 cutie chicks during the night- they woke me up as they hatched, so I got to see them wet and out of the shells.

I've got another pip on the last blue Andalusian egg now...hope it zips later this morning- my parents are coming then and have not seen anything like this yet! I hope they get to see one hatch.

Were on day 18 with my mixed eggs... and I'm so nervous. I can't touch them for 3 whole days!!!!!!!!!! or MORE!

I checked last night and the eggs were just black so I'm assuming the babies are taking up that whole darned thing! We'll see how we do for my first hatch!

i woke up to 2 hatched chirping away and another piped. haven't been over to check the broodies yet. OMG are they adorable!!! they look nothing like i thought they would ,lol. they r both feather shanked, WOOT!!! but i have to tell ya they look like black langshans i hatched out last year, rotfl. i'm working on pics at photobucket will add them in a bit soon as i upload. doing happy dance

i love these 2 already and they r nice and healthy babies!!!
