Three things....

(A) STEP AWAY FROM THE INCUBATOR!!!

(B) Yes it gets darker over the course of the incubation period.

(C) once you candle at 7 days, dont do it again until day 14. there isn't going to be THAT much change to begin with, and by taking them out of the incubator daily, you are increasing the chance of aborting the embryo.

Thank you so much , this was sapose to be a test egg , it wasnt sapose to grow a baby . Now that it has Im gonna worry till the thing is fluffy and in my brooder. I think maybe all put them in cartons so I can turn them all without touching them .... less temptation

I set up all the eggs in cut down cartons with holes cut in the bottom, so I can turn them in the cartons science I dont have a atomatic turner.
