These two turkey chicks had their vents absolutely destroyed by their turkey-chick-mates!
Where do I even start?
I separated them from others.
I got the bleeding to stop with blood quick stopper. Now what?

Only thing I can think of is ,,, applying some BluKote I know chickens go into attack frenzy when they see red,, The blue disguises the red,, so it does not appear to be a wound to the chickens doing the pecking. Never had any dealings with turkeys,, Thinking it may be same. :old :idunno

Thank you so much!

no bluekote you can't monitor the wound, i'd rinse with cool water, vetrycin a few time a day. A mirror in the brooder so it won't be lonely.

Unfortunately both passed away after fighting for two days… I tried my best with epsom salt baths and neosporn and regular cleanings. Unfortunately the damage was just too severe.

I’m sos sorry about them:hugs chickens are ruthless little things, it’s sad.
