Self diagnosed vent Gleet on one of our hens. She has lots of discharge around her vet - looks like cream cheese, smells awful. Not sure what else it can be.

She is up and about and eating and drinking so not egg bound. Have been giving epsom salt baths and using canestan cream. Have also given extra protein and also probiotics into their water. Been about 5 days now not really improving.

Is there anything else I can try? How long does it normally take to clear?

Should add no signs in any of the rest of the flock

Thanks

Just been back out and took some photos. I'm not convinced it's vent gleet now. But just really really bad diarrhoea? Her vents was all brown coloured and it had run right down between her legs. Gave her another wash. Shes also quite skinny so I'm now thinking it's very bad diarrhoea but not sure what's causing it.
