Vibrant Life vs Mannapro

My Wyandotte chicks started on Vibrant Life crumbles. With so many more of them, I needed a more cost effective feed and less trips to the store lol. Even with a slow switch over, they are just throwing the new feed everywhere Is there a better feeder to prevent this or a more similar feed they’ll like better?

I'd do a complete switch over instead of mixing old and new feed, because they're just tossing aside the new feed to get to the feed they're used to eating.

Raising the feeder or putting the feeder in a bigger "tray" (a plate, tray, plant saucer, etc) can help a little with reducing waste.
