Video of my crazy ducks playing in the pool I was trying to fill!

So the ducks of course felt the need to hop in the pool as it was filling today.

They always get so RANDY when they get in! I had to wait several minutes before I could record the video because otherwise it would have been duck porn.

They were being so silly I thought I would share. For a while they were diving head first and flying in and out (well glide/flop) but of course I missed that part. lol

Izzy has really settled in and is becoming such a sweetie.

It really is still important to give them water to swim in over the colder months. They still get dirty and only having face washing water available is not enough for them. Mine only have a swim on weekends in winter when I have time to warm up the water and get them dry and back in the shed where its warm and clean again.

Thanks! lol yeah my daughter laughs like crazy when she watches the ducks in the pool.

We always provide water in winter too. We bought a large stock tank and heater, but don't have it set up yet so we just dump and refill the pool once or twice a week, and I take the hose out and spray them every other day. They LOVE it. This year we got smart and got a faucet attachment for the hose, so we can keep it in the mudroom and never have to worry about frozen lines.
