Here are mine so far... they are freezing still. I haven't seen them in person but will for sure get too many pictures tonight when I get home!!! What a way to kick off a one week break!

I couldn't wait last week either!! Hope your's make it happy and healthy!!!

Ours came this morning to the PO. All arrived in great shape too! Peeping their little heads off.......

Well the PO finally called at 1pm. I rushed up and got them, all 16 made it with out any incident, I was kinda hoping for some packing peanuts but no luck.

3/21/08 1130pm update:
One of the Cuckoo Marans is having balance issues and is not eating/drinking as much if at all compared to everyone else and actually noticeably smaller already. I hope this one pulls through, I really don't want to loose one of the cuckoo's.

3/25/08 Update:
Just got home from work and found the New Hampshire Red passed away during the day. I don't know what happened they were all doing fine this morning when I left for school.

I got 40 chicks from Ideal this morning. They looked great. Only one didn't make it. The post office is really good about calling me when I get chicks. Our PO trucks come in at 6:00 a.m. every day and they called about 6:30. It is really nice when you have good post office people. Hope everyone enjoys there chicks as much as I enjoy mine. I can't stop looking at them either.

Mine from ideal are coming on the 1st...or 2nd.

Finishing up the last few details of the brooder today. Temp test is coming out well. I think I will put down a scrape of vinyl on the floor with papertowels over it.

I didnt get the vitamins, is that the baby vitamins?

I ordered six.

Cant wait! Hope Ideal doesnt have the same trouble as the other one.

Mine made it safe and sound! My duckling seemed to be having some ballance trouble shortly after she got home, but seems to be over it now! They are all so cute! I think my packing peanuts are Barred Rocks.

Awwwww... Lauralou they're adorable! I LOVE the mystery chick! She looks like a chipmunk! You should name her "Alvin".

Congrats to all who have new chicks. I'm jealous. Mine don't arrive for another month!
