No, if it did I didn't notice. It was a real quick response after I asked to join though!Did it happen to show who accepted your group request in the auction group? If it wasn’t Zack, it was likely me![]()

There must be a 12-step program for hatching addicts, right?i’ve got a similar issue right now......mr muddy is NOT happy that I have full incubators with over 500 eggs in the fridge![]()
I’ve been a very good girlThere must be a 12-step program for hatching addicts, right?
My excuse this year was I need to diversify the bloodlines a bit, and I'm starting to really work on learning the genetics. So lots of test breeding is required too...I’ve been a very good girllately I’ve put less than 150 quail eggs through the bator this year (myshire and HG) and I sold 40 of the chicks
and I only hatched 4 of my pheasant eggs!
My excuse has been new colorsMy excuse this year was I need to diversify the bloodlines a bit, and I'm starting to really work on learning the genetics. So lots of test breeding is required too...
I've been hatching chickens too since November last year, at least I make some money from them to pay for the real addiction.
I'm not actually sure how many eggs I've incubated this year. A LOT![]()
Not sure how familiar you are with my setup, but I’ve been hatching myshire eggs probably the longest of byc members and I keep mine on in an aviary setting. I have at least 1 of nearly every every color myshire offers whether hatched directly or from HG myshire stock! My excuse has been new colorsin addition to fertility checks and aging “pet quail”
I’ve pulled out nearly every excuse in the book!!!!

Of course!I told myself I needed to stop. Then I told myself I needed to preserve the silver line. I put 19 in the incubator with plans to sell 10. Only 8 hatched and they were pre-sold.
So OF COURSE I need to hatch more, right?
Don't spray them. Just put them in the incubator. Good luck!View attachment 2771716
They're here!!! Just letting them settle and debating if I should try the hydrogen peroxide spray down or not.
My husband said exactly what I thought he was going to say "I thought you said no more?"So I responded that they should be considered my late Bday present because I technically didn't get any gifts. He said I should hatch some more then, because he forgot that he had forgotten to get me anything this year
then he said "soooo many birds, there's just so many birds". I just about died laughing. But, I do have to build another pen now... And I should probably sell some breeding trios, I have about 30 Rosettas and that's a lot of the same color.
