If you crack an egg and it has a bulls eye in it that means it is fertile right???
Congrats to everyone with fuzzy butts.

The three Yorkshire lads or the chicken?

Contrastphoto - can you tell their sex from the wings?

The temptation to pick up the mum to see what she's sitting on is unbearable!

Here's Elizabeth Mary sitting:

I saw where someone posted your farm/home is enchanting. Do you have a pic? I want to see. Congrats of the babies.

We've done a lot of work on it and have loads more to do. It gives me something to look forward to!

Left side of house:

The coop closest to the house. I'll be moving some Silkies into it today:

The next coop to the left. It's officially the Sebright home:

The next coop to the left is the adolescent hutch; we built it in the spring:

To the left of the adolescent hutch is a wire cage up on blocks, roofed with tin and covered with carpet. That's where Mr and Miz Rose live:

Left of that is "Roosevelt's Pen", the chicken tractor where Red and his hens are currently living:

Roosevelt when he lived in it... that's an 8x12 inch cinder block behind him, for comparison:

I've overrrun, I know! Hope you enjoy the pics!

Looked at the pictures on the link you gave me. Thanks for that. Just curious in the first picture she says it is infertile. I am confused, what is that spot then? Is that not a bullseye??? Honestly after looking at that I am not sure that my eggs are fertile. The one egg I cracked open and I thought had a bullseye, I believe looked like pic number one. Anyway what is the spot in pic number one???

I am thinking all my eggs are possibly infertile. I will give them a little while longer to be sure. I guess its a rookie mistake.

Oh Dandydoodle,

How upsetting.

Can you take a photo and upload it for a consultation with some of these very experienced folk?
