We have this one rooster that is impossible to catch but he has no hen so he is always really upset about that...I really should get him a hen [IMG]

I took a hen out of the coop and held her feet while placing her on the ground. He runs over to mount her every single time and I got him! LOL Never fails......I love my new rooster catching method, it is so quick and easy.

LOL Just thought this was interesting.... [IMG]

There's an easier way. My rooster doesn't like me to pick him up, nevertheless I do once a week for his health checks. I just wait till he goes to roost in the evenings and pick him up. No fuss at all.

My rooster will let me pick him right up. I guess its because i raised him from a chick.

Quote:I've raised mine from a chick too. He doesn't like me to pick him up because I am the "alpha" of my flock. Let's just say he has a healthy respect for the alpha.
