Wanted Blue Egger.

I think what you want is an EE. They lay blue or green eggs.
If you're talking about peacock blue I can't help you

I'd love a breed that layed peacock blue but I don't think they exist.

Hi khoros,
Do a little research before you purchase your birds. Easter Eggers are always advertised by hatcheries as Araucana, Ameraucana, or Americana when actually they are only mix'd birds that do lay green, blue eggs and sometimes brown.
"NONE" of the hatcheries carry the true Ameraucana or the true Arucana, both of which are the two breeds that lay blue/minty-green eggs. The later two breeds can only be purchased through people who are breeders.
There are several BYC folks who have Ameraucana stock, several with Araucana stock, and many with EE's(Easter Eggers). Be sure which of the colored egg layers you're looking to purchase. Good luck.

I too am looking for one or two hens that ARE CURRENTLY LAYING ROBIN egg blue eggs. i don't care if the hens are EEs or have 3 feet, just healthy and proven blue egg layers. Within 100 miles of Ocala, Fl
