IMO, it kinda looks like molting to me.

I've had hens molt for seemingly no reason. And I have one right now that I won at my state fair who molted shortly after arriving here. Whatever the cause, I'd try getting her back in shape anyway. Don't get your hopes up but I don't think trying will hurt. Heck, it doesn't take long to get a few feathers back.

I say do your best to get her in shape. You paid the fees, can't get it back so you might as well try. Use it as free advertisement for your birds, people understand these things. She is a beautiful bird... just tell her to stand with her butt facing them.

I'd wrap a little black or heck, neon pink feather boa around her and have fun with it..... If you get lemons make lemonade..

Caught her in the act! She was trying to sit in the nest box when I locked them up for the night. I kicked her butt out of there and made her go on the roost. Bantams....
