Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Everything in the kitchen will be repainted, and the counter tops have to be redone too. The counters on one side of the kitchen have real tile and the counters on the other half of the kitchen have that fake counter top stuff (can't remember what it is called). We have always wanted the double oven and a counter cook top! Plus...there is a dish washer!!!!! 5 kids and two adults plus any guests and we have no dish washer.[/COLOR]

That is a HUGE house! The kitchen is twice the size of our kitchen and dining room combined! You could have a lot of fun remodeling it. Thanks for sharing!

:)

I know my babies are still tiny, but when will Lucy start taking them in the coop at night? Should I make them stay in the confined area of the run for a few more weeks and then just remove the partition and let her do whatever she wants? Should I add a low roost in the coop for the happy family?

I could use some prayers and good thoughts please. DH just got a call from his PC Dr with the results from his MRI he had Friday. They basically said he has 4-5 major issues going on, from mid to lower back, and he needs to talk to a neurosurgeon about surgery. They were really surprised that he was up and moving at all! Very scared about what this all means. Trying to get an appt scheduled now.

Tamara Sorry to hear DH has back problems. I can relate having had mine fused in 2000. Hoping all goes well for all of you and I will be sending positive thoughts your way.

How in the world did I get on a chicken forum and forget to tell ya about the chickens (hopefully) new digs??? Well the barn is also VERY old. But the whole thing will house only chickens and a few goats. Here is the barn pics.... Outside (duh) To the right you can just hardly see the chicken wire to the one largish coop. Here is a fast shot of the house. I will add more tomorrow, but I must sleep tonight.
Lots of room for lots of chickens. The house is cute from the outside. :)

Thanks for all the well wishes. He actually hobbled into work today. He literally cannot stand up. With his shirt off, his spine looks S shaped! This week all his people from the mid-west have flown in and he claims he HAS to be there. Than next week he is supposed to fly to Fargo. I am just super anxious at this point and want to hear what is going on and what the plan is. He refuses to take pain meds except for at night to help him sleep. Otherwise he is just on muscle relaxers and prednisone for swelling. He didn't take anything before going in this morning and planned to take a muscle relaxer when he got there. He mostly works from home, and rarely has to go in, so last week he was able to take it easy and work on the laptop in bed when he needed too. Ugh! I feel so bad for him. I told him I am happy to go and pick him up anytime he needs me too, and to come home if he has too. This is a guy who normally won't take an Advil or Tylenol unless you force him too! Oh well, guess I just have to wait and see at this point. Thanks for letting me vent here! Don't want to stress the kids out too much worrying in front of them!
I know it may be hard to understand but the fact that he doesn't want to take pain meds is good unless he is doing nothing. Otherwise the meds mask the pain and risk causing more damage.

Ok please tell me I an not the only one who sees this. The second pic in Jess's last post is a completely naked woman!!!

:idunno HUH?! Where?!

I guess that means I am the only one that sees it. For me it is the second picture that you posted. Why would it do that? Really no one else sees it???
