Well I woke up a bit sick still, but able to breathe again. I've been having much issues with the Asthma last several days. Sickness is gone now and I actually feel better. It felt like a mild case of the food poisoning I had before.

I have a steelhead fillet smoking for dinner. New cure that I haven't tried before so we'll see how it turns out. If it works good. I still have some salmon in the freezer that I'll do next.

So of the two broody silkies, the younger one is a good broody and makes sure the eggs are under her and covered. The older one is sitting on nothing. I can't get her to keep an egg under her. So if I get to the show I have the option of getting chicks and putting them under Miss Eggs-are-uncomfortable. The younger one has silkie eggs under her. Or I could maybe get some black silkie chicks at the show.

To some people one is acceptable preperation of food and the other is not. Boiling a chick-in-the-shell sounds gruesom, but boiling or steaming crabs alive is acceptable, likewise lobster. It's in your perspective. Crabs, lobsters are ugly, chicks are cute and loveable.

Its not the beautiful or ugly factor that makes it

for me.
Its the BAMBI factor....I think boiling a baby anything is

Hey BTW did anybody hear about the 200# of TNT they found buried in the woods. Guess what that is only about 1- 1 1/2 miles from me. And what's even cooler!!!! I most likely built the trailer they transported it away in. Just wish I could have been there to see it.

Just don't get a big cabinet incubator like I did or the city of Seattle will have little speckled birds running all over town.

I'm so happy that you're feeling better. See you on Saturday then? We have to leave kind of early but I want to see as many peeps as possible.

Just FYI it is Faverolle and Ameracauna oops.... didn't you mean Ameraucana?

Notice there is NO I in Ameracauna.

But... in this case the "i" might be okay since it's not an Ameraucana any way? It's an Easter Egger.
