I have French Black Copper Marans, Cream Legbars, English Orpington ( Blue,Black,Splash than also have Gold Laced rooster with 2Black hens so they will be split. Than toward summer I'm going to put my blue girls with him.) I'm looking for a few pullets in his color right now.

NOW THAT THE CHICKENS ARE LAYING . . .

Beauty! Nice deep colors. My EEs are the only ones laying so far. Feed store chicks, but the older one is four years old and still laying well. Love that early season brightness.

I'm expecting that it's something like a dog show, but with poultry. I'm hoping that it also ends up being kind of like a swapeet. Either way, on only about half an hour away, so I'm gonna go check it out.
