Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

We let our girls out to free range in our back yard witch is totally fenced in with a 6' foot wooden fence. I usually see them running around while I am working from home out my window but they all of a sudden disappeared. I went out back and started looking for them but they were nowhere in sight. I went back in the house and grabbed their favorite treats and called for them still no girls anywhere in sight. I said to my self they couldn't get out of the yard so where are they...… I walked around through the gate to the front yard and there they were sitting on the front porch banister all perched up like they were suppose to be there. Guess who's getting their wings clipped !! and guess who is locked down today !!
That sounds really cute! Scary until you found them though I’ll bet!

Now I'm worrying that I won't be able to show my birds at the fair this year... with the whole bird flu thing.

(I know-there's a lot bigger of concerns right now...)

It's the migratory waterfowl bringing it through. State Ag Dept said 2-4 weeks after last case should be safe. We have to grin and bear it until they finish passing through.
