Well this just stinks, I woke up 2 hours earlier than I wanted too with eyes half swollen shut and lip area swollen too. Weird thing is I did not eat anything out of the ordinary yesterday and was wearing gloves while working on the pallet coop.

My allergist said the pollen counts have been the highest they have ever been. Last week, I also learned that grass is one of the highest cause of anaphylactic shock. He commented that the pollen counts were very high, and I might have a higher reaction to my "grass and weeds" shot. Sure enough, my arm did.
Yeah, I think it was some green mold. I am severely allergic to molds. Since these pallets came from a milk company, some do have mold. I have not yet treated the wood. It will before I paint is with Kilz. I have had 2 doses of Benedril and been putting the cream on it too. Improved by 50% so far.
So... I must be on alone. Guess I better go clean up the yard anyway, before it gets too dark to scoop poop. I'm not into football, and DH only calls me over when the new commercials come on. Chat with you all later.
Well I just got the Sweet PDZ I bought a couple days ago unloaded from the car and tossed a few pounds in the coop. It was instantly better in there than it's been for a few weeks. I think the humidity and the number of birds in my coop just may prevent me from doing deep litter. I think I need to clean it out weekly for better results. But I'd rather do that and be able to keep a few more birds than I *should* in our small coop![]()

Didn't realize I needed to do it daily. That's easy enough. And WAY better than mucking out the whole thing every week. I'll work on it.
