I got quite a few standard Cochin chicks last night. They are assorted varieties. I can tell what most of them are and have a good guess on these two, but what do you all think?

I'm really not sure on this one, it is a grey, white, blue, yellow mix.

I think this one may be Silver Laced.

Well the Silkiebator is up and setting!! Yup I managed to collect 5 B Fav eggs over the last 7 days so tonight I took the eggs out made like a little nest and put the Silkiebator on them and walked away. she will take good care of those eggs and I need not worry about temp or humidity. Gotta love Silkiebators. Set it and forget it. And power outage NO PROBLEM.

Nice!! I'm very happy about my Lucy girl. She's being so good with her chicks! When I got home today, 2 of my other (most aggressive) chickens had somehow gotten over the run partition into the broody section. I have no idea how long they were over there with Lucy and the chicks but nobody was harmed. I gave her 4 more chicks in the light so she could see them and she took them happily! I hope she goes broody at least once a year

Told DH about keeping 4 more chicks instead of just 2 more. He said I'm a chicken hoarder and I need to change my Screen name to "ChickenHoarder" to one up Chicken Rustler! hah!
