Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

I could use some prayers and good thoughts please. DH just got a call from his PC Dr with the results from his MRI he had Friday. They basically said he has 4-5 major issues going on, from mid to lower back, and he needs to talk to a neurosurgeon about surgery. They were really surprised that he was up and moving at all! Very scared about what this all means. Trying to get an appt scheduled now. :hit

I will be praying.

Thanks for all the well wishes. He actually hobbled into work today. He literally cannot stand up. With his shirt off, his spine looks S shaped! This week all his people from the mid-west have flown in and he claims he HAS to be there. Than next week he is supposed to fly to Fargo. I am just super anxious at this point and want to hear what is going on and what the plan is. He refuses to take pain meds except for at night to help him sleep. Otherwise he is just on muscle relaxers and prednisone for swelling. He didn't take anything before going in this morning and planned to take a muscle relaxer when he got there. He mostly works from home, and rarely has to go in, so last week he was able to take it easy and work on the laptop in bed when he needed too. Ugh! I feel so bad for him. I told him I am happy to go and pick him up anytime he needs me too, and to come home if he has too. This is a guy who normally won't take an Advil or Tylenol unless you force him too! Oh well, guess I just have to wait and see at this point. Thanks for letting me vent here! Don't want to stress the kids out too much worrying in front of them!

Yup. Egg size. My girls have taken up to a month to get full sized. All depends on the bird, though. I've had a few that started with their normal sized eggs.

The house looks cool. I love old houses.

What is that blank spot in the one whole wall mural? that where they had a mirror?
Awesome, Thanks guys.

As far as the blank spot... The first thing I thought of (and this is because we had one) a wood base with two swards crossed. That was my best guess.

Sweet thanks, I love sharing it helps with my excitement! Here they are...... This fist one is on the wall in one of the downstairs HUGE bedrooms. There are also perfect flowers painted around the window, but I did not get a good picture of those. These next few pictures are of one big painting that takes up one whole wall and the ceiling in the other HUGE down stairs bedroom. See the clouds? This one is in the "second living room". These people had some talent! If I could find out who they were I would hire them to paint a wall in each of the kids rooms.
I really like the dragon. But what are you going to put in the spot they didn't paint?

We have one of those, too. We disabled it because we disliked the dull roar.
Some of us walk off and forget to turn off the fan. I like a timer for that reason.
It isn't the kind of timer that you can just set for like 20 minutes, or whatever, and walk away. It has to be set to turn on at a certain time, and off at a certain time.

Good wishes, warm thoughts and prayers for you and yours.

OK so now the guessing game begins. Yesterday DW came in from the LF coop and had a small tan egg. SO now to figure out who it came from. I have 6 hatchery birds that are POL. There's 4EE's and 2 cuckoo maran. But EE's lay blue / green right and Cuckoo lay dark brown right. Well this may be a good example of what ya get from hatchery birds.

And on another subject. See IF only they would have listened to Chicken Little when he said

THE SKY IS FALLING THE SKY IS FALLING ! ! ! !
Yup, EE lay any color between cream to blue. About the only thing they don't lay is dark brown.

Dartha was in the nest box for hours today. Only this time she did NOT lay an egg like yesterday. I wonder if she's contemplating life or beginning to be broody? Woohoo! If she is, I'm going to wait just 2 weeks and give her some Reber Ranch white egg layers. Probably only 2 unlike Lucy's 8!
