Nice that she integrated so easily! TC, you have some wonderful theater right there in Olympia. One of my favorites is the beautiful Harlequin Theater located in the middle of downtown Olympia. It's gorgeous and they put on some VERY high quality work. It's extremely tough as an actor to break into that theater. I have a small hope that by performing in this high profile show for TAO (Theater Artists Olympia) who are known for doing riskier edgier shows that I might be invited to audition at the Harlequin someday.
Capital Playhouse does some fun works. Lots of musicals. I think I saw "Best Little Whorehouse in Texas" there.
But
YOU TC, I had no idea of your history with BAT - you are a desired commodity in theater! They are always clamoring to find someone willing to work on costuming! If you ever thought you might be able to let them have some more of your time, I would be MORE than happy to introduce you to some folks in Olympia theater. They'll want to be your new besties!
I am aware you have a surgery coming up soon and will be out of commission. I hope you heal well and thoroughly. But after that... the theater could be calling your name!
PS - not sure what your surgery date is and how long you're expected to rest, but if you're well enough you should think about meeting up with the ladies from the North and I for dinner in Olympia on Sunday, April 21st. They'll be attending my 2:30 show and we'll be going someplace downtown just after 4 PM.
