I will be sure to post how its coming along. I never hatched eggs before so it will be a first for all of us. My kids are 9, 6, 3 and 7 weeks so my house is a buzz with anticipation of seeing all the chickens this weekend at Monroe and getting their eggs.

I am gonna start it Thursday night and let it run all day Friday and Saturday and then set the eggs Sunday morning. I need to find a small thermometer to set inside the incubator just to make sure its matching up to what is on the display.

Walmart sells a combo digital thermometer and hydrometer for under $10.

GEE all you people just need to put on your "Coneheads" and I quarantee you will be easy to spot and everyone else will give you clear passage( as in standing a block away ) How do you think I manage?

Well, it just took me FOREVER to catch up.
CL- Congrats on the new grandbaby! So beautiful!
Sarakatie- Great coop and run for you girls! Nice job. When you can afford is, definitely do sand in the run.

I am going to be even more busy between now and the show. So I thought I would at least say hi.

I know I am missing a lot of things here, but it is all a blur now, and I am so tired.
Can't wait to see everyone at the show!
I will be showing one Silkie and a Faverolles. Not sure how they will do, but I need the experience.
