please tell me I do not have to do that
Hi I’m new to this online community.
We just lost our rooster, a 15 pound Rainbow we. We’re hoping to breed with our young Delaware hens and incubate out some eggs in February. Then I started seeing what Kathyinmo was doing with Delaware’s .
I’m hoping to get or hatch a out a Delaware to start my own breeding stock.
No where on the level that Kathy is at but some decent birds for our own use as dual purpose birds.
Anyone here in Washington State have something like that available?
Thanks

One of my new hens is laying fertile eggs. Since the previous owner had no males, but did allow free ranging, it's a mystery who/what has been breeding her.
I think I'll slip a few of her eggs into the incubator to see what hatches...
They are still relatively new to laying. It's possible that the brown layer laid an extra egg.I’m confused. Yesterday I got to brown eggs and one green from my new chickens. Today I got to green and one brown. What the heck? They can’t change what color eggs they lay can they?
