Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

I have several European apple trees I planted as well. Bumper crop of eating apples finally on my semi-dwarf trees.

There are two full size apple trees here as well. One has grainy bland apples I leave for the deer. The other is only so so.

The Pacific crabapple are native trees. They don't look or taste like the European crabapple. More of a musky taste like thimbleberry is to raspberry.

that is just what mine are doing each has three one gets up to eat or poop they other three take and cover the eggs it is really fun when you go in to see them have not been able to candle the eggs Richard and I will go out tomorrow night at dark try to see into
them

I give them very large nest areas because they will crowd into small spots. Never had a silkie break an egg. The large fowl have though.
