Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Do you still have moles, though? One is better than none. Giving it a try. Nothing else has worked so far.
Yes, we still have them (and the traps are currently not in use, figured there was no point in trying to use them in winter when activity is low and ground could be frozen). Was happy to have caught the one, but obviously was hoping to catch a few more. I ignore the ones down the driveway, just don't like them wrecking the lawn.

Do rats and mice leave the little mounds of dirt like moles and gophers?
No, rats and mice would generally be holes, with maybe a bit of mounding in the direction they kicked the dirt in, but not a mound like a mole/gopher.

We have a few mounds in the back yard. Richard said the banty had killed rat.
First one in there he said there is gap in screen door ? We built it with hardware cloth as
the wire.

They seem to be very active now, after the weather warmed back up into the normal range here on the west side.

I don't think Kitsap has gophers. At least all the mounds say moles. Other tunnels definitely rats/mice. Had gophers in Northern Cali, smoke bombs gas worked on them.
have moles and voles very interesting read on how they are different
