Nope not at all, I am saying that some people (not anyone here of course!) get them because they are medium size, and think they can toss them out in the back yard, don't socialize them, and never give them a job. THEN they become insane, biting, neurotic freaks. Not the dog's fault, the owner's fault.![]()
You must be thinking about boxers or labs !![]()

Nope she's definitely talking about herding dogs!! Heelers, Aussies, and border collies are notorious for massive destruction is they don't "have a job"
There are some exceptions but, not many, used to see it all the time here in Cow country, believe it or not!!
But, I have known boxers to be just as destructive when not socialized enough they tend to get separation anxiety! Just glad your guy's dogs are well behaved! It's a testament to the type of owners you are! Kudos!
Heck , you can add psycho chihuahua crosses to that list too. Pica (psycho dog) ripped through a cushion on my couch.
I had to toss all but 2 silkie eggs from my bator. Last night was day 10 and they were clear. I guess the rooster is lacking on his job. The 2 silkie eggs are just a dancing in their eggs.
So far there are still 8 cockoo Marans egg under the broody. I have not candled them.
so now I go walking down the hill & take photos just for Teeeeeeeeeee resa.![]()
Aw, she is sooo cute =) I've never had mine fall asleep - she must have been so happy!I bathed Mona this afternoon. I don't know how you folks who show your birds do it! I found it to be quite the ordeal, although it is kind of sweet how they get sleepy in the water. I cuddled her in the towel a little afterward, then spent forever blow drying her! Within minutes of turning on the blow dryer, she fell asleep again, then just kind of rolled over on my arm. As we neared the end I had her stand up and she even started lifting her wings as I'd been doing to get her dry under there. That was pretty cute - she looked like a little airplane with both wings held out straight from her body.
I hope this isn't going to be a really frequent occurence as dawn has been having with her tail less girl. That clump of poo would NOT come out in the warm, soapy water no matter how much I messed with the thing. It was the size of a walnut. I finally had to verrry carefully cut it off after I rinsed her and put her on the towel. Gross, sorry. But I was trying to work that clump out, AND hold Mona's head up out of the water at the same time. It was tricky. I really could have used another set of arms.
She'll spend the night in the dog crate. I think she's pretty beat. What a cutie though - it was a great bonding experience, but not one I'm anxious to repeat anytime soon!
Here's a few pics I awkwardly snapped with my phone as I dried her.
Here's when she flopped over on my arm and fell asleep.
Admiring herself in the mirror as we do when we have our hair done...

Then finally ready for her close up!
