It is a blue merle dog and a lookalike splash chicken.

Quincy would fit in at our house, we have two merle Aussie boys.

That is an awesome photo. Both the pups paying adoring attention to the treat in hand, and of course the chicken is oblivious.

I thought about it....but I have some 20 eggs coming from Laura Castle...they will be here by the end of the week and the eggs under the hen are almost 2 weeks ahead. Just really sad for Martha. I am trying to see if I can get her to go broody again and maybe she will accept the babies I have coming, after they hatch. I also now know that I need to get more "typey" birds for showing (hence the eggs from Laura Castle)....so loosing her babies is actually okay for me....I just feel so bad for her. She looked so upset and confused on why they were peeping and there were no babies.
I gotta go and check on her this morning yet...we will see what is happening.
