Although none of my blue egg layers are producing, I'm getting eggs steadily from the light sussex, the Faverolles girls, and my BCM. Dan and I cannot consume this bounty so I thought I'd just offer some to friends (for a small feed donation), and holy cow! What a response I got! By yesterday I'd supplied 4 friends with eggs and have "orders" for a few more dozen this week or as soon as my girls can give them up. I'm not interested in having regular egg customers, but I've only before just
given them to family members. I just thought maybe if I can buy a bag of food from time to time with a few extra $, why not?
So it's nice that the girls are helping to support themselves and I'm able to share their beautiful eggs with friends. This is a wonderfully unexpected bonus for a city girl's hobby.
I'm taking that egg money to Del's today to pick up supplies.
On another topic - CALIFORNIA SUITE has gotten a couple of very nice reviews in local papers already and audiences are really enjoying the show. Alec Clayton of the Tacoma News Tribune will be reviewing sometime next weekend. My "co-star", the brilliant Elliot Weiner who plays my husband has been making cracks that I'm getting all the big laughs and the audience empathizes more with my character than his. Well yeah, since your character is trying to hide a hooker in our hotel room, I guess so!
Here is our first review - someone you might know has gotten a
little mention...
