My local feed mill carries only purina, and they get good buisness I suppose because I have never gotten a bag older than 2 weeks in there. On the other hand, I got a year old bag from tsc one time.

I do the same practice as Mary. Put the bag in metal trash can with lid. While it would be easier to dump the contents into the can, I believe keeping the contents in the bag is the best practice.

Buyer beware. And don't believe the employee who tries to sell you an old bag of feed. Simply walk away.
