Lots of cities have construction salvage stores. I

them!! I've got a 1924 craftsmen home and those stores are fantastic places to find replacement parts, doorknobs, windows, clafoot tubs, and oddities like bowling alleys and bleachers.

It's like a massive scavenger hunt...
