Wow congrats! And I thought I scored with $500 on a house. We didn't have to pay a dog deposit, and I'm allowed to have my chickies. Our arrangement is work and improvements, material cost on the owner, to make up the difference. We're saving like $500 a month for what it would rent for otherwise with a couple hours work here and there.
