I still haven't gotten a call back and I had to leave a 3rd message!!!

Hey, Maxx - since you have left 3 messages already, when you call is there a way to "dial zero" and get to an operator/co-worker/real person? I'm assuming you are leaving voice mails. See if you can talk to someone who works in her office, perhaps an assistant. Let them know that you are DESPERATE and have left 3 messages over whatever period of time and you have lost (however many it is now) chickens (out of however many - 11 out of 1000 doesn't sound bad, but 11 out of 20 is SERIOUS) to some mysterious ailment.

Good luck, don't give up - keep hollering!!!!!

Is it possible that you have a disgruntled neighbor? The roo made me think of that, as they are mostly noisy. Could it be poison? Most diseases brought in by such pests as starlings are usually not fatal unless they are lung disorders, so I wondered if it was poisoning?

Everybody around us has poultry. The man with the rooster is one of the best neighbors we have. I can assure he is not poisoning our chickens.

It seems like they are getting much better. I see a lot of energy in the remaining 8 hens we have. Their combs and wattles have started to get more red. Thy are eating and drinking as much as they can. Are these good signs?
