M To The Maxx, in the spring I should have some RIR's laying. They are 7 months old now so by spring if you would like some eggs let me know. I have production reds but they are mouting now so I'm only getting about 3 eggs a day from 26 pullets and hens. If you would like some beautiful RIR eggs here are some pics of my family. All I need is shipping money.

As you can see on this pic the production is on the left, RIR's on the right.

I know exactly how you feel - after several weeks of hens dying due to coccidiosis and sour crop complications, we finally stabilized here and they started actually eating again. We got our first egg last Monday after 5 (or was it 6?) weeks of nothing. It's just good to know that they must be feeling all better now!
