we won at the beaumont fair

we won at the beaumont fair! we had a great time, saw beautiful birds. lots and lots of bantams. got to talk to the judge to better understand the differences between breeds, etc. etc.

came home home with a blue ribbon for best of breed and a trophy for champion continental class. first pic is my son with the mottle houdan hen and the second is my son and proud me with puffy wuffy (wcbp pullet) in the background.

LOL, thank you so much everyone! yeah, he's making that face cuz i told him to smile right. i'm such a mom.

we went into that petting zoo also. the goats kept coming after us. at one point, two were knocking heads fighting for the oats. LOL. that llama kinda scared us once in a while. would come out of nowhere and was much bigger than my son.

hope to meet some of you texas people at the A&M show in january!
