Weird Chick

We have a buff polish chick, and she (we think it’s a she) is extremely mellow and quiet. She looks kinda funny too, is something wrong or am i just overreacting?

As long as she's eating, drinking, pooping, and being active for at least part of the day, she's probably fine. Maybe she's just compensating for all the endlessly noisy chicks in the world! Lol

FWIW - I overreact all the time when it comes to my chickens. All. The. Time. It's getting better as I learn more, though.

I have one that is very quiet and reserved and another that likes to hide a lot. As a nervous mom, too, I am constantly checking on them to make sure all is well. I think they are just a bit more timid than their brood mates, is all. When the treats come out though, most of that timidness seems to disappear.
