Weird growth near butt

One of mine had this done too, but it didn't get quite so infected as this one looks. Not to scare you, but it was about $400. I didn't shop around though and I live in a fairly expensive state.
I did my Drake here at home but don't recommend it to everyone..Definitely a Vet is the best option. Mine breeds fine with out any issues. My Drake wasn't as bad either. Infection is a real concern.

Since yesterday, there is a brownish-black tumour like growth (the size of a blueberry) hanging out from my duck's butt (male) . At first, thinking it was poop, i tried to wash it off with water but realised that it's hard as stone and it won't come off. Is this harmful? Should I do something about it or should I just leave it?
Welcome to BYC!
I am sorry to say this, but it looks like your duck has a prolapsed penis and it looks like it's infected.

Can you take him to a vet?

If you can't take him to a vet you should stick him in a tub of warm water for an hour or more which will soften up the crud and make it easier to clean and evaluate.

Probably not too late since it looks like just the tip. Please let us know how he is doing. Is he acting normal other wise?
He wasn't eating much for the past week and he got scared easily as we just changed the roof of his home. It could be that he needed time to get used to the new home. Other than that, he didn't show any signs of pain or whatsoever. Thanks for your help!

Not eating could be from the infection, that's what one of mine did when he had the same problem.
