Weird phobias?

Okay... all of you Palmetto bug phobiasts... I live in Wyoming where it's too freaking cold to have issue with many bugs, so please forgive my ignorance and for my bringing up the thing that gives you the willies, but is that another word for Cocroach?

I just found out that there is a new presence of Black Widow spiders here in the Rockies... I might now move to Alaska. Nothing else really bothers me, but that makes up for lost time.

By the way, I once read that spider dreams or spiders following you are an old superstitious indication that you will find prosperity... so all you arachnophobes TAKE HEART

Quite frankly, one of the best bonuses for having my beautiful beloved hens is that they absolutely ADORE eating spiders... ]

I'm scared of stinging bugs... Bees I can tolerate, and yellow jackets, but wasps and hornets TERRIFY me.

My sister is scared of cicadas and katydids. She tries to get me to reach behind the bush when we need to turn the hose on. Interestingly, that bush is sometimes a wasp hangout, and she freaks out about a CICADA!!! We have never seen a cicada behind that bush, by the way!

My mom HATES being tickled on her feet. Nobody here ever tries. You do so at the risk of your life.

I can't stand the thought of putting my hand in a garbage disposal to retrieve something. I'd have to turn off the main breaker or have them shut down the power plant! I'm sooooo glad I don't have one!
