Weird things only poultry people get.

I once had someone tell me I gave them all roosters on purpose. The threatened to sue me because they weren’t allowed roosters.

I sold them fertilized eggs. They weren’t even all roosters.

If you could tell my my eggs genders, I would never stop bugging you. Male, female, doesn't matter XD

I hate it when people just assume roosters are aggressive. 😡

I have two buff orp cockerels.
My family still can't tell the difference between them after three years.
THEY ARE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.
Angelo has a fluffier bottom, for a start.
I love cockerels, and roosters. My current cockerel is starting to want to mate the pullets, who are in no way interested, but he isn’t aggressive. He actually follows me around and helps me make sure the ladies are okay.

Here is a picture of him. He’s growing up to be a handsome fella.

my family can't tell most of my birds apart. it's the funniest thing when they think Blackberry is Clover.

The only birds that I have trouble telling apart are two of my Japanese Bantams -- Kolachi and Paska look extremely similar, and I find it near impossible to tell them apart.
I usually just say, "Hey, there, you!" when I talk to them.
Hrutka doesn't have any spots on her hackles, so she's easy to tell apart.
Kirby is a deeper gold than his brother, Simnel, and has shorter sickle feathers by a mile.
