Okay, I'm a huge whimp, but can someone check over at the sudden death thread and see what that lady posted? Her video was removed, but my notifications show she posted something - and my head, instinctively (being part ostrich), goes into the sand.

Nothing bad. Just, "little chicks being improperly or over handled". I think she's just adding to the list of things that might cause sudden death in a chicken.

That looks really painful....

I had the cartilage out on the edge of my ear pierced for many years, just took the hoop out a few years ago. It only hurts for a minute.
It has faded about half pain, I'm hoping for just a 24-hour one, and not a 48-hour one.

Oh, I hope it's not a 48 hour one. Have you tried Imitrex or any such thing? I'm guessing you probably have, but I am curious.
