Oh, I hope it's not a 48 hour one. Have you tried Imitrex or any such thing? I'm guessing you probably have, but I am curious.

I have not. I used to just take a few ibuprofen, then got some Excedrin migraine, and that usually does better. Is Imitrex OTC? I need more Excedrin anyway, so I'll look for it.

You get a large metal pan. Put a couple bricks in the middle. Put the food bowl on the bricks. Fill the metal pan with water.

It's prescription. I took one, went to my dark quiet room for a couple of hours, took the second one and it was gone two hours later. My usual cure is 4 ibuprofen and sleep. Lots of sleep.
