Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

I have always been told there was. But I don't know these days. We lost our local police department and only have county patrol now. They do nothing but patrol main street from what .I see. This is why so much stuff is going on around here with theft and what not.
Yeah we have a daytime local police.... But at night it's just the state police and they don't come this far out. I'm almost to the Marquette/ Delta country line.

Second gosling is out!

Last one is trying to give me a heart attack. Along with pipping away from the air cell, it is also foot over head. It should be fine though; I have removed the air cell so when it's ready it should be able to just push right out.

These are all already sold. So this time I can't just end up naming and keeping one

Besides, I have at least six on their way to me this week that I will be keeping.

Not saying it's a bad idea.... Cuz it's not.
Although I think 16 would be enough. Cripes I was raising kids by the time I was 18.
And it would work on the city. But we don't have night time police around here.
If you have an issue at night you have to call the state boys and they are 45 miles away.
Although lately a few times at night I've seen the cops pull into my driveway to watch the house across the street. But they never stay long.
Ya. . I think 16 would be good enough. I worked a job at 17 and had to be at work at 4:30 am. I was warned back then by the cop at the time to go straight to work or I could get in trouble for curfew law. . but don't know if that was true. I don't care if the kids are out at night.
Or even how loud they are really. . if they were in their own yard not bothering my animals and me. My 80 something neighbor lady lives alone and doesn't need the stress of kids screaming in the street all night. It makes her uneasy I'm sure.

But how many now days can do what you did at 18? Not many can at 25. Its just diferent times i guess ..

Yay! :celebrate
I hope it behaves and hatches with no issues!:fl

@shawluvsbirds, sorry for all your trouble with the kids. I was having the same trouble. It was complicated because it was my cousin's kid participating too. I actually DID end up running a hot wire, lol. As well as putting up a camera, and having words with both my cousin and the neighbor kids' parents.

Yay! :celebrate

Thanks! Me too!

I have a fun, simple solution. Make a lifelike scarecrow, only it'll be a scarekid. In addition to regular straw stuffing, put a liberal amount of chicken treats in there near the top of the straw; something with enough aroma to attract the chickens. Lay it out in the run, or wherever the chickens spend a lot of time, then sit back & wait for the neighbor kids to notice a bunch of chickens pecking away at what appears to be a motionless, possibly dead, body. Then, in a day or so, take everything away, except the clothes; leave them in place as though the birds consumed everything else :clap

I actually had the kids hang a moose skull and backbone on a tripod by the start of my property.

We have some more dead critter parts I want the kids to hang up. I am going for Blair Witch scary.

Gotta be better than no trespassing signs I think.

:love so sweet!
Jax is still chasing the juvie duo Bianca and Squirt. I saw him sorta chase a couple of Lexis babies too. He is going to be spending alot of time alone if he doesn't shape up.
Then the duo tried to join Lexi an the little ones, and they all chased them off. Even the little tiny silver was chasing them. :hit

I'm at least going to keep them until I figure out gender, and see what color Bianca grows out.
I love the peachy color on her chest.

See I was thinking I should at least tell them there is hot wire back there. . that way I can play the see .. I am only concerned for your safety card
I actually am concerned for their safety. If any of them would stand still long enough to talk to me I might be able to get somewhere. I'm pretty sure one of them gave me the bird. .and heard another one saying they could play back there if they wanted to cause there weren't any no trespassing signs by the train tracks.

:barnie:he Forget the hot wire, bring on the iron maiden! :old
In the meantime, grab a few No Trespassing signs to cover your butt from any lawsuits. If you need me to order you some pm me. Amazon can have them there in 2 days.
