I actually had the kids hang a moose skull and backbone on a tripod by the start of my property.

We have some more dead critter parts I want the kids to hang up. I am going for Blair Witch scary.

Gotta be better than no trespassing signs I think.

@shawluvsbirds, sorry for all your trouble with the kids. I was having the same trouble. It was complicated because it was my cousin's kid participating too. I actually DID end up running a hot wire, lol. As well as putting up a camera, and having words with both my cousin and the neighbor kids' parents.

Ya. . I remember that.

So far they aren't actually messing with the birds. . just cutting through the property scaring them as they run by. With the babies out there I don't want them getting startled and stomping them! One kid just cut through a minute ago. AGAIN!

Jax is still chasing the juvie duo Bianca and Squirt. I saw him sorta chase a couple of Lexis babies too. He is going to be spending alot of time alone if he doesn't shape up.
Then the duo tried to join Lexi an the little ones, and they all chased them off. Even the little tiny silver was chasing them.

I'm at least going to keep them until I figure out gender, and see what color Bianca grows out.

Thanks your so sweet . I have a prime membership I'm getting some ordered. I have one up but the others I had have gotten destroyed over the years. Also going to have hubby bring home some game cameras from his hunting spots.

Thanks Room... She went in for acute pain (GI related), had a couple heart incidents, and apparently has a drug resistant infection. They want to operate on the GI thing, but can't while she's throwing all kinds irregular rhythms and has this infection. Brother said they wear haz-mat gear when they enter her room. Great. She's 85 and has a lot of issues.

Oh that's horrible! I feel so bad for all 3 of you! How long do you think you'll be gone?

Shoulda told him the kids slept in the room where all the guns were kept; at least the loaded ones, and they were always guarded by at least one sharpshooter with binoculars.

Yea, if only my steely eyed freedom fighter wasn't such a sound sleeper!

Unfortunately, No Trespassing signs don’t protect you from squat. A property owner is still liable if someone goes on their property and gets hurt. Although, since the little darlings said they could go on the property because there were no signs, Shaw can now say, “Here’s your sign”.

'Al' has a nice thought pattern leading to unique ideas.

Unfortunately, No Trespassing signs don’t protect you from squat. A property owner is still liable if someone goes on their property and gets hurt. Although, since the little darlings said they could go on the property because there were no signs, Shaw can now say, “Here’s your sign”.

I know, but in theory, its better than nothing. Maybe she can start staking of the back lot with twine to mark her "future garden plots". If they trip over the twine enough they might get tired of cutting thru. Plus then she can show the parent (if one ever shows their face) how the kids trespassing is messing up her markers.

Lol! Ya I've heard that it is nearly impossible to actually prosecute someone for trespassing too. But maybe it could make some people think twice before crossing
I just really need to fence off the whole area. And soon.
