I looked close at the photo That horse is very well cared for... Hes got a short stretch of leather to cover his loin thus shading his back.... And hes ties by a circle of rope run through a halter..... Excellent... Beautiful face on that horse....

The further away pic was taken discreetly as I walked past, didn't want to look like a crazed tourist. The other pic, I took thru the window from inside the store when no one was looking my way.

Hubby saw the owner inside, said he pulled out a massive wad of cash! When we left, we happened to get caught behind the buggy on the road. He pulled over and let us around, we took a short pit-stop out to look at the marina, and decided to go to a different launch. When we got back on the road, we got behind the same horse again! Followed him to his house. Very nice looking place, so this family does very well.

I know. The memories. The smell. The warm, fuzzy, comforting vibe. Its actually easier this time because after 3 renovations the poor house is almost unrecognizable. All of the quirks that made it unique are long gone. Why do people try to make old houses look like new houses? Its just so wrong.

I'm fascinated by the Amish! Theres nothing like that here, just a few weird communes, which is nowhere near the same thing.
